The San Francisco Bay Area has had a long and well deserved reputation for fostering resources and insitutions dedicated to spiritual growth and development. We support that growth in our patients, and often see this process as being central to recovery from chemical dependency.
We've listed some of the most beautiful and peaceful centers available to our patients either immediately nearby or a short trip from our offices. We work with our patients to plan trips to these centers to help them build their own sense of personal calm and centeredness. We recognize that medications, groups and individual therapy can not heal the soul alone.

Ten minutes from town, Muir Woods is home to a spectacular stand of Coastal Redwoods. Muir Woods encompasses 560 acres with six miles of trails.
Our patients have some of the most unique and exceptional hotels at their disposal, in addition to numerous Bed & Breakfast inns.
In all, Mill Valley, as well as Marin County's extended physical and spiritual resources are ideally suited to support our patients and their deep desire to build personal health, spirituality and recovery. This is the essence of our Recovery Without Walls program. Without limitations, individuals with the right guidance and direction can accomplish astonishing things. We are dedicated to making those transformations happen. We see them happen every day.
